South Carolina Golf
 The State's snapshot would show beaches, resorts, golf, fishing, boating, history, gardens, forests and beautiful old homes. The South Carolinians are inspired to preserve their heritage. Revolutionary and Civil War Sites, beautiful old houses, white sand shoreline and especially their Southern gentility. Known as the Palmetto State, it is a complete vacation destination.
 Aiken has top competitive thoroughbreds; the Grand Strand on Myrtle Beach with country-music theaters and over 80 great golf courses. Hilton Head Island is known for beautiful sandy beaches and more incredible golf resorts and courses, (the MCI Classic is held at Harbourtown Golf Links. South of Myrtle Beach is Pauleys' Plantation Golf Resort. Sumter is home to the Swan Lake Iris Gardens. Visitors to South Carolina have plenty of diversion and if time permits travel the state on its two lane roads.
