Designed by Tripp Davis and PGA TOUR/Ryder Cup star Justin Leonard . Inspired by the ‘Golden Age’ of golf course architecture between 1911 and 1937, Old American’s natural contours, hazard styles, native grasses and green shapes were influenced by such masterpieces as Shinnecock Hills, National Golf Links, Prairie Dunes and Crystal Downs

The Tribute

The Tribute at The Colony has its own version of St. Andrews' two finishing holes, including the famous Road Hole complete with a stone wall running the length of the hole's right side. St. Andrews; Nos.1 and 18 spreads out in one vast fairway just behind the clubhouse, and there are also "tributes" to Royal Troon's Postage Stamp, North Berwich's Redan and Turnberry's Wee Burn.

Cowboys Golf Club

The 18-hole "Cowboys" course at the Cowboys Golf Club facility in Grapevine, Texas features 7,017 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 74.2 and it has a slope rating of 140 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Jeffrey D. Brauer, ASGCA, the Cowboys golf course opened in 2001.

Texas Star is well-known for world class golf that is secluded in the midst of the bustling Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
